Okkervil River is opening for the National at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA 09/11/10. Tickets on sale now. Should be an awesome show.

Gunna be hard to top the Shearwater show a few weeks ago though, considering that was the best thing of all time.

That WAS a great show. Sort of like a giant music collective- they each had their own distinct thing going on but it was pretty impressive how much they contributed to each other's music. Two or three people on one instrument at a time, one person on two or three instruments at a time, musical chair-like trade-off of instruments mid-song. Wow. Having said that, the big outdoor venue in the Seattle summertime will be an amazing spot to see the OR gang and I will be so thrilled to see these guys again!
